Mike Laureanno is old school songwriting at its best: Poignant themes and heartfelt

imagery that allow the listener to experience a slice of Americana through the eyes of the

quintessential everyman.

Mike is the winner of the 2014 Stone Soup Coffeehouse, Pawtucket, RI songwriting 
contest and a finalist in the 2014 Rose Garden Coffeehouse, Mansfield, MA songwriting 
contest. His debut CD "Pushing Back Wintertime" released in November 2013 charted at 
#28 on the Folk DJ Radio Playlist.
Mike is also a recording engineer and veteran sideman. He produced and recorded 
his own album and played bass guitar for 12 years behind legendary New York City 
Fast Folk founder, Jack Hardy.
