Mike Laureanno is old school songwriting at its best: Poignant themes and heartfelt

imagery that allow the listener to experience a slice of Americana through the eyes of

the quintessential everyman.

Mike is a 2014 NERFA Suzi Wollenberg Folk DJ Showcase artist and winner of the
2014 Stone Soup Coffeehouse, Pawtucket, RI songwriting contest. His debut CD
“Pushing Back Wintertime" charted at #28 on the Folk DJ Radio Playlist and his
song “Little Red-Winged Blackbirds” reached # 1 on Neil Young’s “Living with War
Today” web site.
Mike is also a recording engineer and veteran sideman. He produced and recorded
his own album and played bass guitar for 12 years behind legendary New York City
Fast Folk founder, Jack Hardy.
