Mike Laureanno is old school songwriting at its best: Poignant themes and heartfelt

imagery that allow the listener to experience a slice of Americana through the eyes of

the quintessential everyman.

Mike is a 2014 NERFA Suzi Wollenberg Folk DJ Showcase artist and winner of the
2014 Stone Soup Coffeehouse, Pawtucket, RI songwriting contest. His latest CD
“Road Signs” charted at #20 on the Folk DJ Radio Playlist and his
song “Little Red-Winged Blackbirds” reached # 1 on Neil Young’s “Living with War
Today” web site. Most recently WFUV folk DJ Bob Sherman, the host of Woody’s
Children, selected “Pushing Back Wintertime” as one of his top ten albums of 2014.
